Yeah, that's why I don't equate Ralph's KKKness with the drunken rape cases from the 80's. Back then it was socially acceptable to consider drunk=consent, as evidenced by the number of mainstream documentaries of the time (Revenge of the Nerds, Sixteen candles, etc). However blackface was something that was cute in the 30's, and by the 80's was as wrong as drunk rape is today.

So no "oh it was the 80's, it was ok". It was not ok then and isn't ok now. Fail.
