There was one year the family seder on my father's side was held in Brookline, and it was the Friday before Patriots Day. We stayed through the weekend since it was also my high school's spring break, and I was able to walk out to Beacon Street to watch the Marathon go by.

There's also a family story about a funeral that started from a memorial chapel on or near Beacon Street on Patriots Day. The procession got bisected by the first group of runners.
