Maugie's annual St. Pat's Day "early show" at Madam's Organ is not near a Metro station, so I had to walk from Columbia Heights to get there. It was a gorgeous day and still sunny out. And when I left after dark, I walked with the birthday girl
fizzygeek and
bodger to the Woodley Park station. Felt good to get some minor exercise for a change; maybe now I'll actually go to bed earlier than I've been doing lately (yeah, I've been slipping in that department lately).
Maugie performed excellently as always; the front windows were open behind him, so I hope that the neighborhood got to hear his fab guitar work. This was the first time I've heard him play "One," too (bad pun there, I know).
