Gosh, I suck at updating this journal, don't I?

I'm just plodding along on a boring proofreading project for pay. The boy toy and I watched Tom Brady win the Super Bowl on Sunday. This coming Saturday (the 13th) is the next Virtual University of Atlantia (hey, zhelana, the deadline to register is tomorrow/Wednesday). We're supposed to have snow on Thursday, Friday, and Sunday. The winter weather we've had so far this winter, though, hasn't amounted to much.

Pandemic fatigue is hitting me hard. I have no idea when people my age will be vaccinated. I have no idea what kind of activities and events will be happening later this year.

You're much better at updating than me! I barely get bookposts up.

I'm with you on the pandemic fatigue. What gets me is every time we seem to take one step forward we go two or three steps back. Like right now when we can see the vaccinations are working but everyone's saying the variants are going to spike the cases even worse than December/January.

And vaccines are happening in some places but it's so disorganized that it's hard to get connected. I'm not eligible yet, but my 80-something-year-old parents haven't gotten theirs yet either (and one of them is also medically compromised) because they have to check each individual place that might have vaccines someday. Oof.
